This policy covers the want for Communities website (partners.wantconnection.com). It explains what we collect when you visit this site or ask us about a pilot, and what we do with it. The want app has its own privacy policy.
Who we are
want (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for information collected through this website. You can contact us about privacy at privacy@wantconnection.com.
What we collect
When you request a pilot or contact us
- Your name, work email, organisation and role
- The type and size of your community, and anything you choose to tell us in your message
- The page you came from and any campaign parameters in the link you used, so we know which conversation it relates to
When you browse the site
- Usage analytics (pages viewed, clicks, approximate location from IP, device and browser type) through PostHog, hosted in the EU. Until you accept analytics cookies, this runs in a cookieless mode that stores nothing on your device.
- If you accept analytics cookies, a persistent identifier and session recordings with all form inputs masked.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
- Vercel (website hosting)
- PostHog, EU region (analytics)
- OneSignal (delivering enquiry notifications to our team by email)
- Our internal tools for managing partner conversations
These providers act as processors on our behalf. Where information is transferred outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or adequacy regulations.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we’re in conversation with your organisation, and for up to 24 months after our last contact unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Analytics data is kept for up to 12 months.
Pilots
If your organisation runs a pilot, information about your members or guests is handled under a separate data processing agreement with your organisation and a participant privacy notice shown before anyone opts in. It is not covered by this website policy.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, object to or restrict how we use it, or ask for a copy in a portable format. Email privacy@wantconnection.com and we’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
